When the season started, nobody thought that the Oakland Raiders would be able to give their fans a satisfying farewell due to their poor start and all of the Antonio Brown–related drama surrounding the team. However, it seems like Jon Gruden is giving Raiders fans a season to remember as the team packs up their bags to move to Las Vegas.

The Raiders head coach has led the team to a solid 5-4 record after nine games. He's doing a wonderful job in Year Two of his stint as Raiders coach. More importantly, he may be able to finish with the team in a position to make the playoffs if he continues to win more than half of the remaining games of the season.

He's done a lot of good with the Raiders roster that Hall of Fame quarterback Brett Favre names him as his Coach of the Year.

He was interviewed at SiriusXM NFL Radio, and he gave his take on the great work Gruden's been doing for the Raiders.

He explained his take:

“All of this (the Amari Cooper trade and the Antonio Brown saga) could have just destroyed his team. If you look at all those things that have occurred, and where they are … more importantly, how they're playing. They're playing well, and they're responding to how he coaches. It's just a tremendous job. I'm very impressed with what he's done there.”

There are still more games to play this season, and they have tough opponents left in their schedule such as the Kansas City Chiefs and Tennessee Titans. However, Gruden should be able to lead the team to a spirited display that will make many an Oakland fan happy.
