The Las Vegas Raiders led by quarterback Derek Carr was in utter disbelief as the New York Jets called an all-out blitz on fourth down in the dying seconds of the game when they were leading 28-24. The play, whether intentional or not, gave away a wide-open lane for wide receiver Henry Ruggs III to make a score on the endzone.

“I couldn't believe they all-out blitzed us,” Carr mentioned after the game via NFL‘s Michael Baca.

The rookie also knew that there was an error on the part of the Jets' defensive rotation but insisted that he needed to capitalize and deliver on the game-winning opportunity.

“Once I looked back, it looked like the ball was in the air forever,” Ruggs recalled. “It just wouldn't come down. I just had to find it and make a play.

“We were kind of surprised they brought the house like that.”

Ruggs easily beat Jets safety Lamar Jackson on one-on-one coverage and stretched to grab the long bomb which eventually gave away the 31-28 nail-biting victory for the Raiders.

Tight end Darren Waller was also a huge piece for the team's win as he chalked up a monster performance of 200 receiving yards on 13 receptions on two touchdowns for the Men in Black.

The triumph lifted the Raiders to a 7-5 win-loss tally to remain in the playoff race while the loss kept the listless Jets to their 12th straight loss of the season.

Carr and the rest of the team will have their hands full once again as they face a playoff hopeful in the Indianapolis Colts for Week 14 action.
