Oakland Raiders quarterback Derek Carr admires Philip Rivers, but says he could probably do without having as many kids as him. At least that's what Paul Gutierrez of ESPN reported.

The Raiders will take on Rivers' Chargers this Sunday. Rivers is in his 15th season with the Chargers and has put together an impressive resume. He's thrown for 51,504 yards, 353 touchdowns and has eight kids. Not many NFL veterans can stack up to these numbers. However, can only hope he can produce the kind of consistency Rivers has over the years.

The 27-year-old Derek Carr has two kids so far, but maybe he plans on stopping there. He's thrown for 16,063 yards and 109 touchdowns in less than five complete seasons. It looks like he's on pace to match some of Rivers' numbers at this rate. The Raiders are 1-3 after notching their first win against the Cleveland Browns in Week 4. Meanwhile, Philip Rivers has lead the Chargers to a 2-2 record. These two California-based teams will battle it out battle it out in Los Angeles.

The Raiders had high expectations heading into this year. Acquiring the quarterback guru Jon Gruden as their head coach created a lot of hype. However, their season hasn't been as successful as they expected it to be. While the team's performance is struggling, Carr is among the league leaders in completions, attempts and completion percentage. His 1,373 passing yards rank him fourth in the NFL this season.

Carr doesn't want to pick up any more babies right now, but he'd definitely like to pick up a W in Week 5.
