Former Los Angeles Rams wide receiver DeSean Jackson has found a new home in Sin City with the Las Vegas Raiders.

According to NFL reporter Josina Anderson, Jackson has revealed he is signing with the Raiders after meeting with them on Sunday. As reported earlier, Las Vegas was one of the seven teams who have shown interest in the 34-year-old wideout.

The signing came as a bit of a surprise since the Raiders have been linked with Odell Beckham Jr., who was also recently released by the Cleveland Browns. Moreover, those teams interested in Jackson were rumored to be making a run for OBJ, which is why the general expectations are the ex-Rams receiver would not rush signing with a team and instead wait it out.

Of course the development is great news for the Raiders and DeSean Jackson, who now gets a fresh start on a team that really needs him. Las Vegas is in dire need to add depth to their receiving corps after releasing Henry Ruggs III.

Jackson was released by the Rams after the team failed to trade him at the deadline. He has since cleared waivers and should be ready to play for the Raiders come Week 10. However, it remains to be seen how Las Vegas plans to ease him into the roster in their bid to keep the top spot in the AFC West.
