Isaiah Crowell's free agency could be coming to an end. Crowell will visit the Oakland Raiders Thursday, according to Ian Rapoport of NFL Network, and it sounds like there's a decent chance he'll sign.

Rapoport writes that Raiders head coach Jon Gruden is a fan and “is hoping to add him to the RB room.” Gruden has final say over matters in the front office as well, so if he wants Crowell he can get him. Crowell signed a three-year, $12 million deal with the Jets last offseason, but made it just one year into that pact.

The Raiders have made plenty of big moves so far this offseason, including the Antonio Brown trade. But they haven't done much at running back, other than tendering their own restricted free agent Jalen Richard.

We heard earlier this week that the team wouldn't make a decision on Marshawn Lynch until after the draft, so it sounds like there's a good chance Lynch isn't back next season.

Richard is more of a third down back than anything else, and isn't really a between the tackles grinder, so Crowell could serve as a nice complement to him in Oakland's backfield. Doug Martin was on the team last year, but is a free agent and hasn't been re-signed yet. Crowell averaged 4.8 yards per carry in 13 games before his season was ended by a toe injury.

But New York was never very high on him, and they moved on to make room for Le'Veon Bell. This is Crowell's first known visit of the free agency period. He spent the first four years of his career with the Browns before signing with the Jets last year.

He likely won't be too expensive for whoever decides to sign him.
