The 2022 NFL off-season continues to surprise fans around the league. After being given the franchise tag by the Green Bay Packers, Davante Adams was dealt to the Las Vegas Raiders in a trade, reuniting him with his former college quarterback Derek Carr. Itā€™s a move that made an already crazy AFC West even crazier.

Many NFL stars around the league reacted to the crazy Adams trade. Derek Carr, Josh Jacobs and newly acquired defensive end Chandler Jones welcomed the star wide receiver to Las Vegas.

The Raiders are loading up for what is going to be a crazy 2022 season. Adams joins Hunter Renfrow in the receiving department, while Jones will team up with All-Pro edge rusher Maxx Crosby. The AFC West is going to be an absolute bloodbath, with the Broncos and the Chargers also making big moves of their own.

Another big implication of this move is how it impacts the wide receiver market. The Jacksonville Jaguarsā€™ big signings earlier have already skewed the market for big-name wide-outs, and Adamsā€™ gigantic contract with the Raiders all but guarantee that the next free-agent wide receivers will get paid. Already, Bengals star receiver Jaā€™Marr Chase is salivating at that thought.

Rams star cornerback Jalen Ramsey, on the other hand, congratulated Adams on his power play, getting paid while also going to his preferred destination in the Raiders.

Other guys were simply bewildered at the insanity of the move, such as Cam Jordan and Darius Slay.

In the end, though, AJ Green summed up everyoneā€™s feelings about this crazy off-season. It will interesting to see what other moves the Raiders will make to get ahead of their tough competition.
