Antonio Brown has yet to play a single snap in an official game for the Oakland Raiders. However, he has given the team more than a year’s worth of drama in their final year on Californian soil.
The Raiders situation has become a soap opera that keeps on giving as both camps aren’t relenting with their jabs. This time, it’s Brown who came up with the latest jab in the form of a YouTube video.
The video was colored black and white, consistent with the Raider colors. It shows footage of him at home and during training while the audio accompanying it was a recorded phone call between him and Raiders head coach Jon Gruden.
From the way the conversation was presented, it seemed like there are questions as to whether Brown actually wanted to be there. He responded that he has been trying to be a Raider since the draft and asked him the same thing.
Naturally, the media went to Gruden to get his side of the story. He gave the press a pretty interesting reaction.

For a coach to say that his marquee acquisition’s antics mere before the season officially begins are “amusing” is puzzling, to say the least. The last thing any good coach would want days before the season kicks off is a source of discord.
The fact that Gruden dismissed this as hilarious is either him not being concerned about his antics at all or him being secretly worried about the entire situation blowing up even further.
As a refresher for those not up to date, Brown was fined an unspecified amount by the Raiders for his unprofessional behavior during his altercation with team GM Mike Mayock on Wednesday.
He has since returned to the team and is expected to play in Week 1. However, only the football gods know if even that plan will come to fruition.
