Multiple franchises across the NFL are searching for their new head coach. For the Las Vegas Raiders, they have an interesting situation as Rich Bisaccia has proven to be a solid coach after filling in for Jon Gruden. Regardless, the Michigan Wolverines seem to believe their current head coach Jim Harbaugh is chomping at the bit to head to Vegas.

According to Bruce Feldman, Michigan fully believes that Jim Harbaugh will take the Raiders head coaching job if offered. Luckily for them, Las Vegas has yet to interview Harbaugh for the position. Regardless, it sounds like the Wolverines are preparing for their head coach to leave for an NFL gig soon.

Harbaugh has a history of leaving for new jobs after four years. Even so, he's coached for Michigan for seven years now and could be eyeing a return to the NFL. For that reason, “they've each believed that he, at some point, would want to coach in the NFL again,” per Bruce Feldman. There is no word on this from the Raiders, as the front office has yet to reach out to Harbaugh about the open position.

Although these rumors are sputtering throughout social media, Jim Harbaugh is a tough cat to read. Even Feldman believes his sources could be wrong, claiming, “they also know that Harbaugh can be hard to read. Their hunches could be wrong.” With that, who really knows what's going on between Harbaugh and the Raiders?

This is a situation that will have to play itself out. The Raiders have conducted multiple interviews for their head coaching position. Meanwhile, not a single NFL team has asked to speak with Jim Harbaugh. Maybe he returns next year, maybe not. However, it does seem that a return to the big leagues is eminent.

Keep an eye on Michigan and the Raiders, as something could come to fruition at some point in the future.
