In an Instagram Live video on Friday evening, Pittsburgh Steelers star receiver Antonio Brown stated that he's going to announce his new team in a short while. As ESPN's Field Yates points out, Brown's friend appears to hint that the Oakland Raiders are that franchise.

The perennial All-Pro receiver has been connected to Oakland in trade rumors for quite some time, but on Thursday it was reported that the franchise came down with cold feet in negotiations. If Brown's friend is indeed referencing the Raiders with this comment, clearly both sides were able to figure out a compromise.

As of late Thursday night, it appeared that Brown was headed to the Buffalo Bills, but it quickly became clear that the 30-year-old was not going to play for the franchise, leading to the Bills pulling out.

The details of the trade that the Steelers and Bills agreed to have not been reported, although Pittsburgh has made it clear from the beginning that they're looking for at least a first-round pick in return. Oakland previously offered a second and fourth-rounder for Brown, but the package was declined.

If the Raiders give up the last of their 2019 first-round picks for Brown at 27th overall, the deal could essentially be viewed as a swap of their former star receiver Amari Cooper for Brown.

Cooper was dealt to the Dallas Cowboys during the 2018 season. At the time, Oakland likely thought the selection was going to be higher, but the Cowboys rallied behind a few strong outings by Cooper to win the NFC East title.
