Rampage Jackson may be a lock for the UFC Hall of Fame but that doesn't mean he's interested in it. The former UFC champion is interested in something else instead.

The former Pride fighter was asked about the UFC Hall of Fame and he was quick to shoot it down. It seems Rampage Jackson isn't exactly a big UFC fan.

“No, fuck them. I don’t fight for no Hall of Fame. What do you get for being in the Hall of Fame?” Jackson asked Monday on The MMA Hour (via MMA Fighting).

“I say, ‘Honor me with a fucking check. MMA fighters, we’re not like baseball players, we’re not like football players, we don’t get no pension or nothing like that. Those guys get in the Hall of Fame, they’ve got pensions and all that s—t. Honor me with a check. I got a lot of injuries and pain for making the UFC a lot of money and selling a lot of pay-per-views, selling a lot of tickets. What do I give a fuck about being in the Hall of Fame? To be famous? I didn’t fight to be famous.”

It's safe to say the UFC is going to have an awkward conversation with Rampage Jackson when the time comes to add him into the Hall of Fame. Many legends have been inducted including Georges St-Pierre recently.

Rampage Jackson last fought for the promotion back in 2015 at UFC 186. The affair was very strange and messy but the fight did end up happening with the Memphis native winning a decision against Fabio Maldonado.
