The Los Angeles Rams have reloaded their roster this offseason and hope to make another trip to the playoffs in 2024. One year after a disappointing 5-12 season, the Rams made the playoffs but lost a narrow game to former franchise QB Jared Goff and the Detroit Lions.

The Rams will be without Aaron Donald moving forward, as the superstar defensive tackle officially retired from the NFL earlier this offseason. Los Angeles still has a strong coach in Sean McVay and a dangerous offensive core with QB Matthew Stafford, WRs Cooper Kupp and Puka Nacua, and RBs Kyren Williams and rookie Blake Corum. There is reason for optimism in Los Angeles that they could be playoff bound once again.

However, their roster is not without its holes. A small handful of injuries at the right positions could torpedo the Rams' season. Therefore, it is important for Los Angeles to consider adding depth players before training camp to flesh out their roster.

Below we will discuss three possible trade targets that the Rams should consider over the next couple of weeks. These players all fill positions of need for the Rams and should be relatively easy to acquire via trade.

Let's get into it.

Dyami Brown – WR – Washington Commanders

Dyami Brown is a former third-round pick who has failed to live up to expectations. He is no longer playing for the regime that drafted him, which puts Brown in an uncomfortable situation. Brown is in the final year of his rookie deal, which does not make him very valuable to a Washington squad that is rebuilding for the future. Trading Brown for a draft pick before the season would be the best way to get some value out of him.

Meanwhile, the Rams have a sneaky huge need at wide receiver depth. Kupp and Nacua are an awesome pair of starting receivers, but the depth behind them looks bleak. Demarcus Robinson and Tutu Atwell are the best reserve options, both having flashed in several moments before. However, they've also both been in the doghouse before. If either Kupp or Nacua suffered a lengthy injury, it would be a significant problem for LA's offense. Adding someone like Dyami Brown to the room would give the Rams more options at wide receiver and insulate them from injuries.

If the Rams like what they see in Dyami Brown, they could even re-sign him to an affordable second contract after the 2024 season.

Los Angeles should seriously consider a trade like this as long as they don't have to give up too much.

Larry Borom – T – Chicago Bears

The Rams have made some serious investments on the offensive line this offseason. However, their tackle depth is fairly suspect. They are looking okay at right tackle with Rob Havenstein and Joe Noteboom, but could really use some help on the left side behind Alaric Jackson.

Chicago's Larry Borom could be the perfect economy trade option. The Bears do not have a huge need for Borom anymore, after replacing him with Braxton Jones and then drafting Kiran Amegadjie this year.

Borom is a good, not great, backup tackle who has the ability to play on both sides of the offensive line. Historically he has played right tackle, but the Bears tried him out at left tackle in 2023. Borom started six games for Chicago last season and put up a couple of solid performances as a pass blocker.

Larry Borom is also at the end of his current contract, so he would likely come cheap in a potential trade.

James Bradberry – CB – Philadelphia Eagles

The Philadelphia Eagles drafted two defensive backs in the 2024 NFL Draft. They have also received rave reviews about former Colts cornerback Isaiah Rodgers. Suddenly, the Eagles have a huge surplus of cornerbacks.

Bradberry could be the CB that Philly wants to move because of his contract. He is in the middle of a 3-year, $38 million contract that features a potential out in 2025. His cap hit is only $4.31 million in 2024, which should be easy enough for the Rams to stomach.

The Rams could really use another starting-caliber cornerback to pair with Tre'Davious White. In fact, Bradberry would likely become the Rams' new starting cornerback for the next few years if he joined the team.

As long as Los Angeles is comfortable taking on Bradberry's salary, they should be on the phone with Philadelphia. This potential trade could work out well for both teams.
