When the Los Angeles Rams looked like they were on their way to a disappointing loss in the NFC title game against the San Francisco 49ers, it was Aaron Donald who rallied them to victory.
More than his defense, it was his in-game speech and desire to win that lit a fire inside the Rams to come back from 10 points down heading to the fourth quarter and turn the tables.
A day after their incredible win at home, the Rams shared a video clip where Donald can be heard motivating his teammates not to give up and finish what they started. He knows they have what it takes to make the Super Bowl, and he made sure to remind that to his teammates.
“We're here to play. We're one game away. Bow up. We're playing for something. It's gotta mean something to you. It's gotta mean something. Everything we got. Everything you got. Let's finish this,” Donald exclaimed as head in the video.
Below is the full clip, and if you don't get motivated upon hearing it, we don't know what will:

For what it's worth, Rams safety Eric Weddle also opened up about the moment and how Aaron Donald brought them back up when they were “down and out” in the game. To recall, the 49ers went ahead 17-7 in the third quarter, and it looked like to be an improbable task for LA to come back–but they did, staging a 13-point fourth quarter to take the victory and punch their ticket to the Super Bowl.
“We were down and out,” Weddle said. “AD rallied us. He asked us to give more. He said to let us be the reason we win this game. We knew what it meant to him.”
