Aaron Donald has been an absolute force for the Los Angeles Rams over the last couple of weeks. Now, the Rams defensive tackle is ready to give Miami Dolphins rookie quarterback Tua Tagovailoa a nice baptism of fire when they face off on Sunday.

“You go about it just like every other week,” Donald said to ESPN on facing the rookie quarterback. “They are starting him for a reason, so we're going to go into the game with the mindset that we've just got to go out there and do our job, just like every other week.”

As mild as those words come, “doing their job” means the 22-year old will feel every bit of the defensive tackle's wrath, as Tagovailoa makes his first ever professional career start. It certainly doesn't help that the Dolphins have the third worst pass block win rate across the league.

Nonetheless, Donald added that they should make sure to let the 2020 no. 5 overall pick feel their presence all night and not let him feel an ounce of comfort out there.

“The only way you can do that is putting pressure on them, getting to him, hitting him, not letting him be comfortable back there,” said Donald, who has 5½ sacks in five career games against rookie starting quarterbacks. “So, if we do that up front, not just because he's a rookie quarterback, that's with any quarterback, you get to him.”

Tagovailoa will certainly have his work cut out for him on Sunday. Nonetheless, he probably heard these warning shots already and should be ready for what's to come.

The two-time Defensive Player of the Year has been on a mission for Los Angeles this season. Aaron Donald is looking to continue his tear when they take on the Dolphins on Sunday.
