The Los Angeles Rams notably made their way to Super Bowl LIII, thanks to a generous non-call from the officials in this year's NFC Championship Game. With the Rams defeating the New Orleans Saints, Los Angeles cornerback Aqib Talib does not want to shy away from a potential rematch.

In fact, with the NFL schedule to be released soon, the veteran defensive back actually wants the Rams and Saints to square off in Week 1 of the 2019-20 regular season.

“The Saints. It's a rematch of the championship game,” Talib recently told NFL Network. “Let's start it off with them. They want to play us. We don't have a problem playing them.”

Even if the Rams and Saints wind up playing each other early on, it is all about where Los Angeles and New Orleans ultimately end up come playoff time. The tandem of NFC franchises will no doubt enter the upcoming campaign as the two heavy favorites to possible come out of the NFC when all is said and done. Although the Chicago Bears, Dallas Cowboys and Philadelphia seemingly primed to have at least some say in the matter, the Rams and Saints sill appear to be the most dangerous teams in the NFC — if not the entire NFL.

It is also worth noting that the Saints seemed to take a little wind out of the Rams' sails ahead of Super Bowl LIII as Los Angeles went on to lose to the heralded New England Patriots in addition to failing to score a single touchdown.
