The Los Angeles Rams are set to become the second team in NFL history to host the Super Bowl. They play the Cincinnati Bengals in Super Bowl LVI Sunday at SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles. Last season, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers became the first team to ever host the Super Bowl, making this year that much more unpredictable.

But that fact has opened up criticism and jokes regarding the Rams' inability to fill a stadium. Late night talk show host Conan O'Brien took a jab at the Rams on Twitter.

O'Brien posted “It will be interesting to see if L.A. Rams fans are willing to travel all the way to L.A. to see the Super Bowl.”

The comedian is clearly referencing the many games where there were a lot of road fans attending Rams home games this season. That was never more evident than during the NFC Championship a little over a week ago. The stadium was packed with thousands and thousands of 49ers fans wearing red.

It has been a battle the franchise has been facing since moving back from St. Louis in 2016. As bad as that seems, it has been far worse for the Los Angeles Chargers. The Chargers left San Diego for their northern neighbor city and rarely even have half of the stadium being home fans.

In the Super Bowl, it is not likely to be an issue as it's well known that the Super Bowl is not nearly as loud. The cheapest ticket prices to Super Bowl LVI this year were just under $6,000. Super Bowls are generally some of the more reserved atmospheres of any NFL game during the season. But that didn't stop O'Brien from having a little fun.
