Cooper Kupp is not the only one to sign an extension with the Los Angeles Rams this season. Before his three-year blockbuster, LA also reached a deal to keep Aaron Donald long-term.

As reported earlier, Donald re-worked his contract with the Rams and got a $40 million raise over the course of the next three years. He is now guaranteed to make $65 million in his contract as he runs it back with the team.

Speaking in an exclusive interview with The Spun, Kupp opened up about Donald's Rams contract and his relationship with his teammate.

“It’s a great thing. I think he’s one of the best — not just defensive players, not just defensive linemen — one of the best football players in the history of the National Football League,” Kupp said. “To have someone like that in your locker room, setting the standard in our building day after day. There’s not enough words to be said about the kind of person he is and the standard he sets and calls people to each and every day — and what he means to our team.

“Very excited to be able to have him back. I’m always appreciative of the opportunity to play alongside him and never having to play against him.”

Aaron Donald is a key cog for the Rams, and there is no doubt he'll play a key role as they attempt to win back-to-back Super Bowl titles.

Naturally, Cooper Kupp is excited to keep playing with the game-changing defensive tackle. Besides, he is a three-time Defensive Player of the Year, and having him on the roster makes it a lot easier for the offense as well.

Hopefully, that partnership between Kupp, Donald and the rest of the team continues to develop and helps bring another championship to the city of Angels.
