The Los Angeles Rams received some good news about the status of star cornerback Jalen Ramsey ahead of Tuesday's clash against the Seattle Seahawks.

The Rams were among the NFL teams heavily struck by COVID-19 protocols. It can be recalled that just a few hours before the team's game against the Arizona Cardinals last week, star cornerback Jalen Ramsey and tight end Tyler Higbee was placed in the league’s COVID-19 list, becoming part of the most number of positive tests ever recorded in the league in a single day.

Fortunately for the Rams, Ramsey has now tested negative and will be allowed to join the group on Tuesday against the Seahawks, per Peter Schrager.

“Rams (and Jalen Ramsey) got the news around the third quarter of tonight’s Pats-Colts game. He has tested negative and is good to go for Tuesday’s game Vs Seattle,” Schrager tweeted.

Ultimately, the exclusions of his players due to the COVID-19 protocols has been causing some headache to Rams head coach Sam McVay.

“It’s one thing if you get this information early on in the week,” McVay said after the Rams' 30-23 over the Cardinals via The OC Register. “Those guys just did a great job being able to handle it.”

“The amount of changes (in plans), I can’t even go through. But my head’s killing me right now.”

After learning that Ramsey and Higbee will be joining the list of Rams players who will be sidelined, the team has decided to activate running back Javian Hawkins, tight end Jared Pinkney and defensive backs Grant Haley and Kareem Orr, as well as wide receiver and kickoff returner Brandon Powell from the practice squad as replacements.
