The Los Angeles Rams made a flurry of trades on Tuesday with one of them landing Jalen Ramsey. Before they made any of their trades, Los Angeles offered Marcus Peters to the Cleveland Browns for Joel Bitonio per Adam Schefter.

After the Rams fell to 3-3 on the season, the front office quickly picked up the phone to better the roster. On Monday, Los Angeles made a call to Cleveland to attempt bringing in Bitonio to bolster their offensive line.

As expected, Browns GM John Dorsey quickly rejected the offer, but both sides weren't done doing business. Instead, Dorsey offered Austin Corbett to the Rams.

Los Angeles chose to move a mid-round selection for Corbett. Additionally, Los Angeles decided to make Peters part of another trade that happened earlier in the week. While the Baltimore Ravens were negotiating with the Jacksonville Jaguars for Ramsey, the Rams offered Peters to them in exchange for Kenny Young and a fifth-round pick.

After intelligently getting the Ravens off of Ramsey's scent, the Rams swooped in to make an irrefutable offer to the Jaguars for Ramsey. With the fifth-round pick they just received from Baltimore; Los Angeles felt comfortable adding on a fourth-round pick to the two first-rounders that were already on the table.

In the end, the rejected trade of Bitonio led the Rams to get the player they wanted all along in Ramsey, as well as the offensive line help they needed. With that in mind, Rams GM Les Snead owes Dorsey some dinner.
