Matthew Stafford had a smashing debut for the Los Angeles Rams on Sunday after leading the team to a convincing 34-14 victory over the Chicago Bears. Of course, one of the proudest for the veteran quarterback was his wife, Kelly Stafford. Or was she?

During NBC's Sunday Night Football airing of the Rams and Bears matchup, the camera showed her cheering from the stands. There was only one problem: She was not actually Stafford's wife. The broadcast team mistook her for another blonde woman. Ha! Classic (via Fox 2 reporter Jennifer Hammond).

While some women would've taken it as an insult, Kelly Stafford had a perfect and hilarious response to the blunder. She somehow found a way to actually meet the “Not Kelly Stafford” after the Rams' victory and took a picture with her (via ESPN'S Seth Wickersham).

Clearly, Stafford has a keeper. It doesn't matter if the Rams never win another game this season, he's already won in life.

Seriously though, the 33-year-old signal-caller had a stellar maiden appearance for the Rams, passing for 321 yards and three touchdowns. With a new generation of supremely talented rookie quarterbacks looking to take over the NFL, the seasoned Staffer showed they need to go through the OG's first.

After playing his entire career with the Detroit Lions prior to joining the Rams, Stafford said he feels really comfortable with his new situation.

“I've done everything I can to work as hard as I can and get myself in this team, and they've wrapped their arms around me. It felt good to go out there and play with them tonight. Such incredible players on this team.”

Stafford's wife is even more incredible.
