The Los Angeles Rams are one of the best team in football this year, but defensive end Michael Brockers doesn't like the spotlight on his team.

The 4-0 Rams have an explosive offense and a sturdy defense. Their consistency on both sides of the ball makes them a serious Super Bowl champion contender. The Kansas City Chiefs are the only other undefeated team in the NFL.

Brockers doesn't want to receive any recognition until the job is done.

“I hate it,” Brockers told the Associated Press.

Brockers is entering his seventh season as a member of the Rams. He was drafted by the team with the No. 14 overall pick in the 2012 NFL Draft. The Houston, Texas native wants to make sure his team is deserving of praise by winning the big dance in February.

“I hate looking at ‘SportsCenter' and they've got you at the top of the power rankings,” Brockers added. “It's just like, you know, stop crowning us! For me, I'm a humble guy. I don't want to be crowned. I always want the attitude of being the hungry dog, being the underdog, because you almost seem to be more hungrier when you play like that.”

Michael Brockers has recorded 20 sacks in his NFL career. His only sack this year came against the Oakland Raiders in Week 1. However, he's likely to rack up a couple more considering how dominant their defense has been this year. Hence, the attention will only continue to pile on until their season comes to a close.
