The Los Angeles Rams have officially signed Odell Beckham Jr to the team on Thursday. After a confusing media debacle involving the Green Bay Packers, LA winds up signing Beckham Jr. This move beefs up the team even more, as the franchise is clearly all-in on a Super Bowl run.

According to Ian Rapoport, Odell Beckham Jr. has “spotlighted the Packers and Rams as his top targets.” Green Bay is in need of help in the receiver room, as Aaron Rodgers has a limited number of targets outside of Davante Adams. Meanwhile, LA is obviously going all-in on winning a Super Bowl this season.

There has been some confusion amongst the NFL media, as it appears Adam Schefter might have jumped the gun at first. We had conflicting reports on whether or not Beckham Jr. was signing with the Rams or still evaluating his decision to possibly play for the Packers.

Additionally, the Rams themselves have updated their website welcoming Beckham Jr. to the team, per Jourdan Rodrigue. For this reason, it's been a confusing moment for the NFL media as nobody was sure whether or not the star wide receiver had signed with the Rams or not.

In the end, it appears Odell Beckham Jr. will be joining the Rams after all. Los Angeles makes it official, welcoming the star receiver to the team through social media. This franchise was already favored for a Super Bowl run. However, after getting smacked by the Tennessee Titans on Sunday Night Football, the front office decided they needed more firepower on the roster.

We'll see how this plays out. The Rams already have a dynamic receiving core. The addition of Odell Beckham Jr. should push the offense to new heights, or, the team could crumble within.
