Late Wednesday night, tragedy struck in Thousand Oaks, California, as 12 people were killed in a mass shooting at a bar that has shaken many across the area.
Several Los Angeles Rams players took the time to take to social media acknowledge the situation and send their condolences to those impacted by this senseless incident that cost many lives.

The shooting occurred just a few miles away from the Rams' practice facility located at California Lutheran University and the team's offices in Agoura Hills. It is a situation that has struck a chord with many of the players, who aside live in the area. It was a devastating incident that came without warning as it saw many innocent lives lost.
The Rams also sent out a statement on behalf of the team regarding the incident that occurred Wednesday night.
“The Los Angeles Rams organization is heartbroken by the horrific shooting that took place last night in our community of Thousand Oaks. Our thoughts and prayers are with the victims, their families and our entire community.”
Several other professional sports teams are located in the area. Among them are the Los Angeles Lakers, the Los Angeles Chargers, the Los Angeles Kings, and the Los Angeles Galaxy. This event should likely see many of these teams put forth an effort to help those affected that could happen in coming weeks as everything is sorted out. It is quite an encouraging sign that the surrounding sports community has united toward addressing this tragic situation.
