Los Angeles Rams head coach Sean McVay isn't too concerned about whether or not quarterback Jared Goff will get a contract extension with the team.

Goff obviously played a huge role in the Rams making it to the Super Bowl last season, and he should continue to thrive in McVay's system.

But with questions about whether Los Angeles is actually committed to Goff under center, McVay made it very clear that those concerns were not warranted.

And he even went as far as to say that the percentage of Goff not getting an extension with the team was rather low, according to Michael Silver of Sports Illustrated.

McVay also expanded on his comment a bit and made sure everyone understood the connection between he and Goff.

Goff has had plenty of success under McVay, so it's natural that the Rams coach would want to limit the distraction surrounding the team possibly not being interested in keeping him under center.

But after just reaching the Super Bowl, it simply doesn't make sense for the Rams to be searching elsewhere for a new quarterback.

The Rams should once again have one of the most talented offenses in the NFL, and both Goff and McVay should give the defending NFC champs an opportunity to get back to the NFL's biggest game.
