Heading into their matchup with the Seattle Seahawks, Los Angeles Rams head coach Sean McVay emphasized his plan to utilize running back Todd Gurley down the stretch. On “Sunday Night Football,” Gurley is showing why that's a very good idea.

Watch below. On first-and-goal, with 11:13 minutes left in the fourth quarter, Gurley got out to the edge and then stayed there. He used a nasty stiff-arm to evade a tackle by Tre Flowers.

That's the Todd Gurley that I know.

The touchdown, with the nasty stiff-arm (key), was Gurley's first of the night. He has 20 carries for 76 yards (3.8 yards per attempt) and the score. In the passing realm, he has four targets for four receptions for 34 yards.

Gurley's score put the Rams up by 19 against the Seahawks. Though there is still football to be played, they are currently in the driver's seat.
