Chris Boucher has been a pleasant surprise for the Toronto Raptors this season. After sitting on the bench for the majority of the Raptors' championship season, the 27-year-old power forward has seen his role on the team increase. However, while Boucher has been a solid contributor for the defending-champions, the athletic-wrath of San Antonio Spurs star DeMar DeRozan simply couldn't be stopped on Sunday.

DeRozan was able to put Chris Boucher on a poster late in the game's third quarter and while the dunk will be on highlight reels all season, Boucher isn't too worried about the play.

“I was just trying to block the shot … I’m a shot blocker, so you get some and you miss some. I’ve blocked a thousand shots,” Boucher said. “It’s going to happen. I think everybody knows that’s what I do. He got me this time, I might get him the next time.” per ESPN's Tim Bontemps.

Calling Boucher a shot-blocker is certainly accurate. In his two years at the University of Oregon, the athletic 6-foot-9 forward averaged an impressive 2.7 blocks per game. As for this season, Boucher is putting up 6.2 points, 4.6 rebounds, and 0.9 blocks per game.

While Boucher doesn't get the playtime to put up incredible defensive numbers, per 36 minutes, the former Oregon Duck is averaging 3.3 blocks per game for his career.

A fourth-quarter comeback gave the Spurs the one-point win over DeRozan's former team. In the game, Boucher added seven points and three rebounds in nine minutes while DeRozan dropped a game-high 25 points.
