New Baltimore Ravens safety Earl Thomas played along with a star in Russell Wilson with his former team and he thinks that his new quarterback, Lamar Jackson is well on his way to following down the same path.

“He’s a star in the making,” Thomas said via ESPN. “Box office.”

Jackson and Thomas have gone against eachother in practice and on Thursday when Thomas was trying to chase him down Jackson was juking, cutting, and showing off his skills in open space.

Everyone knows about the speed that Jackson has, but to take that next step and become a star it's going to come down to the passing. Jackson has been working hard to improve and plans to have a meetup with all his wide receivers before the team comes together for training camp.

Jackson said a big focus this offseason has been working on the fundamentals and although they aren't perfect yet he has noticed the changes.

“I got better with my fundamentals, but I’m not perfect,” Jackson said. “So I’m going to keep working on it always. You’re never too great, so I have to keep going.”

During the off-season training, there have been improvements with Jackson and others have taken notice. Jackson said that everything he is doing now is to get better and help his team win games.

“I’ve just been working hard, trying to perfect my craft,” Jackson said when asked to assess his three-day minicamp. “I’m trying to be the best that I can be to help my team win games, get in great situations. I feel I was very productive.”
