The Baltimore Ravens won a crucial game last week to take a stranglehold on the AFC's No. 1 seed, but it might have come with a cost. Amid a spectacular game, Ravens safety Kyle Hamilton suffered a scary knee injury that forced him to leave the game early.

Tests came back clean and Hamilton thankfully avoided serious injury, but after missing practice on Wednesday and remaining limited on Thursday, there is doubt that he can be ready for Baltimore's Week 17 clash with the Miami Dolphins.

The short week doesn’t help either with the Ravens playing Monday, but Hamilton isn’t ruling himself out quite yet despite the odds being against him.

“It’s day by day. I’m still evaluating. [It’s a] short week. [We’ve] got a day less to kind of evaluate everything, but I’m going to do everything I can to make it to the game,” Hamilton said, per Jamison Hensley.

Hamilton had perhaps his best game of the season on Monday against the San Francisco 49ers. He had the first multi-interception game of his NFL career, including one in the red zone that immediately shut down San Francisco's momentum on its first drive of the game.

Hamilton has started every game to this point for the Ravens in 2023 and is taking the next step after being eased into the NFL as a rookie in 2022. He's played exceptionally well this season, particularly in coverage. Hamilton has allowed only one touchdown and has four interceptions while opposing quarterbacks have a 38.4 passer rating against him.

Kyle Hamilton faces an uphill battle to play on Sunday, but the Ravens safety will do what he can to prepare himself for Week 17's marquee matchup.
