Baltimore Ravens backup quarterback Robert Griffin III thinks the reason John Harbaugh has so much success is his willingness to adapt to anything to win games.

When talking to Aditi Kinkhabwala of NFL Network, Griffin said he knows how bad NFL coaches want to win, but they want to do it their way. For Harbaugh, he is willing to do anything to win games, it doesn't matter if he needs to change an entire system.

After the team drafted Lamar Jackson, Harbaugh built an entire offense to play to the strengths of his quarterback. Other coaches might be stubborn to use the same system they had used their whole career, but Harbaugh didn't hesitate to change.

Former Pittsburgh Steelers coach Bill Cowher thinks his ability to adapt has been what has kept him in the league for so long.

“I think to have longevity in the National Football League, particularly as a head coach, you’ve got to be very open to change and very comfortable with who you are,” said CBS “NFL Today” analyst and former Pittsburgh Steelers coach Bill Cowher, via Childs Walker of The Baltimore Sun. “And I think you constantly see that with John. He takes a group of players and men, and he creates a plan based on the talent he has. … It’s hard; sometimes you get locked into loyalty, and you’re afraid to make change, but I think that’s one thing John has proven: He’s not afraid.”

Because of Harbaugh's willingness to change, the Ravens are the number one seed in the AFC, and the favorites to come home with the Lombardi Trophy.
