New city, same Earl Thomas. For the 30-year-old six-time Pro Bowler, it doesn't matter if he's taking snaps as part of the Seattle Seahawks or Baltimore Ravens. He's going to continue doing his thing. That showed in training camp, as he decided to ramp up his efforts, intercept a ball, then take it all the way to the opposite goal line.

Of course, Ravens Twitter had to compare him to Ed Reed — their former Super Bowl safety who redefined the position and will be a first-ballot Hall of Famer come Friday.

Thomas has been picking balls and taking them to the house for as long as one's memory serves. The free safety is a ballhawk in every sense of the word. In his nine-year career, Thomas has intercepted 28 passes and taken them to the house twice. For good measure, he's added in 66 pass deflections.

Thomas, despite the impressive highlight, hasn't been practicing at 100% after breaking his leg early in the 2018 season. Garrett Downing of the Ravens official website notes via 24/7 Sports,

In terms of what he [Thomas] is doing, I think he is still kind of easing into this thing. It's not like he's going to go out there and go 110 percent and play 80 snaps over the course of practice. The Ravens are going to work him into this thing while he's learning the defense. I thought he looked pretty good. I mean, it's not like he was going out there and was intercepting every play that was happening, but I thought in terms of how he moved, he looked fluid.

That quote and pick-six alone should frighten quarterbacks that call the AFC North home.
