The Washington Redskins did a phenomenal job of revamping their defense this offseason. However, there's still some uncertainty with their quarterback situation.

Following a standout career at Ohio State, the Redskins selected Dwayne Haskins in the first round of the 2019 NFL Draft. However, he hasn't quite lived up to his expectations yet due to injuries. In the 2019 campaign, Haskins completed 58.6 percent of his passes for 1,365 yards and seven touchdowns in seven starts.

In hopes of improving his game, Haskins has reportedly been working hard this offseason. In a recent appearance on ESPN, Redskins safety Landon Collins revealed that he's pushing the young pass-caller to be better this season.

“I’m on Dwayne Haskins’ tail every given second,” Collins said on ESPN’s First Take. “If he makes a bad throw when we got 1’s-on-1’s, we’re picking on him, trying to get into his head as much as possible. There’s no being patient on this side — we want the best for our team, we want the best for our players, we want the best for our brothers.”

Collins also knows that it's not only the defense that wins championships but also the offense.

“We win championships on defense, we make plays on defense, but we have to give our offense the best opportunity to put points on the board so we can get W’s,” the 26-year-old safety furthered.

In this year's NFL Draft, the Redskins will have seven draft picks, including the No. 2 overall pick. Several NFL Draft have predicted Washington selecting quarterback Tua Tagovailoa. However, Collins still prefers to have Haskins.

“I love Tua and I love Alabama,” Collins said. “We drafted a first-round quarterback last year. I think Tua would be a great asset to our team but we already have one. I think we should keep the guy we have now,” Collins added.

Nevertheless, the Redskins will be seeking to reach the playoffs for the first time in five years.
