The Atlanta Falcons recently signed defensive tackle Eddie Goldman. After just 13 days as a Falcons player, Goldman decided to retire. New Orleans Saints defensive end Cameron Jordan took a shot at the Falcons organization that will make even their fans laugh.

Goldman, who spent his six-season career with the Chicago Bears, informed the Falcons that he would be retiring. Goldman appeared in 81 career games. He recorded 175 total tackles, 18 tackles for loss, and 13 total sacks.

After taking the 2020 season off, Goldman returned in 2021 with the Bears. He appeared in 14 games and started 10. He totaled 22 tackles, one tackle for loss, and half a sack.

When news broke of Goldman retiring, Cameron Jordan took his chance to take a shot at the division rivals.

The Falcons, who have struggled over the past few seasons, have been a team that has run into Cameron Jordan many times during his career.  The two terms, who both play in the NFC South, have a clear history with each other.

Jordan, who has spent his entire 11-year career with the Saints, has formed a strong opinion toward the Falcons.

Since entering the NFL in 2011, Jordan has put together an elite career. He has started 175 games for the Saints and appeared in 176. In that time, he has recorded 573 tackles, 137 tackles for loss, and 107 total sacks.

Cameron Jordan has also been a seven-time Pro Bowler. He was also a member of the All-2010’s team. As he enters a new season, there will definitely be no love lost between him and the Falcons.
