After a detrimental loss in their previous game, the San Francisco 49ers hope to bounce back against a struggling Seattle Seahawks team. This is an NFC West showdown with huge implications. It's time to continue our NFL predictions series with a 49ers Week 4 prediction.

San Francisco has a great defense that's capable of dominating anybody. The 49ers will look to take advantage of a shaky Seahawks offense on Sunday. We'll see how it plays out, but as of now, the favor swings in the 49ers' favor.

We might see San Francisco air it out in this contest. Seattle has one of the worst pass defenses in the league. For that reason, Brandon Aiyuk, Jimmy Garoppolo, and George Kittle could be in for big performances. If so, San Francisco could end up running away with this one. With that said, here are four 49ers' Week 4 predictions against the Seahawks.

49ers Week 4 Predictions

4. 49ers defense shuts down the Seahawks offense

It's been a rough couple of weeks for the Seattle Seahawks. First, they blew their big lead to the Tennessee Titans then got upset by the Minnesota Vikings. The 49ers are a well-coached team and will be looking to take advantage of a Seattle team that's lacking confidence.

We should see the pass rush on full display in this one, as San Francisco will attempt to exploit the Seahawks' poor offensive line. As long as the 49ers can cover the deep ball, Seattle could be struggling throughout this matchup.

3. Brandon Aiyuk reminds everyone exactly how good he is

After dealing with some minor setbacks, Brandon Aiyuk has slowly been integrated back into the 49ers' offense. He flashed a little bit in the game against the Green Bay Packers. However, Aiyuk seems fully healthy now and should be retaining his role as one of the top pass options in the offense. If so, look for Brandon Aiyuk to have a monster game against the Seahawks.

2. Jimmy Garoppolo proves he deserves the starting job for the rest of the year

Everyone is on pins and needles waiting to see Trey Lance under center. Instead, Jimmy Garoppolo holds onto the role for now and is playing some of his best football. We'll see Lance sporadically throughout the season as he's a legitimate threat in the run game.

Even so, this is a solid matchup for Garoppolo to prove himself as the starter moving forward (well, at least the rest of this season). He fits the 49ers' offensive scheme and delivers the ball where it needs to be. Expectations for Trey Lance should be tempered for now, as the job belongs to Jimmy Garoppolo. He'll prove that on Sunday as he has a chance to carve up the Seahawks' secondary.

1. George Kittle dominates the Seahawks secondary

He's easily one of the best tight ends in the NFL when healthy and provides consistency in San Francisco's passing attack. George Kittle could put up huge numbers against a struggling Seahawks defense. He's Garoppolo's favorite target, which bodes well for his chances.

There is virtually nobody who can guard George Kittle. He plays like a massive receiver and the Seahawks will have no answer for him. Assuming he's healthy and ready to go, you can expect to see Kittle dominate Seattle on Sunday.
