Seattle Seahawks wide receiver Doug Baldwin missed practice for a second straight day on Friday due to a recent hip injury. Baldwin was added to the injury report on Thursday after picking up the injury this week, and it appears that it's significant to keep him off the practice field right now.

The eight-year pro has 37 receptions for 388 yards and two touchdowns this season but did miss a couple of games earlier in the year due to injury.

But it was another day of Baldwin on the sidelines at practice, according to Seahawks digital media reporter John Boyle.

On a positive note, Seattle's Week 14 game against the Minnesota Vikings isn't until Monday night, so it's possible that Baldwin returns to practice prior to what will be an important NFC showdown for both teams.

While Baldwin's numbers haven't been through the roof this season, the team's passing attack has been very efficient. Russell Wilson has thrown just 326 passes on the year, but he's made them count in throwing for 2,716 yards and 29 touchdowns.

Most importantly, Wilson has just five interceptions on the season, which has helped Seattle earn a 7-5 record to this point.

Pete Carroll's team is sitting in a good spot right now in terms of their chances to grab a playoff spot, but a win over the 6-5-1 Vikings would increase the postseason chances even further.

After the primetime clash with Minnesota, the Seahawks will finish the regular season with games against the San Francisco 49ers, Kansas City Chiefs, and Arizona Cardinals.
