Seattle Seahawks star QB Russell Wilson has just entered Steve Young territory after Sunday's win against the Atlanta Falcons.

The seven-time Pro Bowler is off to quite a start this 2020 season as he joins the San Franciso 49ers legend as the only players in NFL history to have 30,000 passing yards and 4,000 rushing yards in their career. Wilson had an evening to remember after he tallied 322 passing yards and added 29 rushing yards in the Week 1 contest.

Wilson expressed his gratefulness over Twitter after reaching the major milestone.

The second-ranked player in the NFL's Top 100 list is looking to bring the Seahawks back to the playoffs after last year's disappointing second-round exit.

With the way things are going so far, the signal-caller seems to be locked in and ready to spearhead his team all the way to another Super Bowl stint this 2020. Seattle's title hopes have been boosted in the offseason with the addition of superstar safety Jamal Adams, who also had quite a debut for the Seahawks.

After winning the Super Bowl in 2013, Russell Wilson has a couple more Lombardis to win if he wants to continue to chase Young's legendary career. In his time in the Bay Area, the Hall of Famer won three Super Bowl titles to etch his name as one of the 49ers' greatest ever. He also won a Super Bowl MVP trophy — one that Wilson is looking to hopefully replicate before his career comes to an end.
