MMA is known for having some strange beefs. Fighters beefing with the higher-ups is nothing new.

Sean O'Malley, though, took it to another level when he started having issues with UFC Matchmaker Sean Shelby. The Montana native made some comments on his podcast which Shelby did not appreciate.

O'Malley refused to fight in New York for tax reasons and went on to say Shelby was acting like a “fucking tool.” Shelby replied “Fine. Go hang out with 6ix9ine.”

The comments made O'Malley angry with the bantamweight claiming he'd only hung out with the rapper “once.” He also went on to say he'd rather just deal with UFC President Dana White.

Things escalated from there with O'Malley claiming the UFC was treating him “like shit.” The rift between the two seemed like it would be very hard to fix, especially with Shelby being in such an important position in the company.

However, O'Malley recently did an interview with The Schmo where he revealed things with Shelby are good now.

“I said what I said on (my show),” O’Malley said in the interview. “I got into some trouble. I had a conversation with Sean Shelby a couple [of] days after, in person, in Houston at the fights. We’re good now. He didn’t like what I said, I didn’t like what he said. I feel like I’m in a position now where if you want me to fight in New York and I don’t want to fight in New York, I’m not gonna fight in New York. I’m in that position and I had that conversation and we’re good now.”
