Happy birthday, Seth Meyers!

The Late Night host received quite a 50th surprise birthday from his staff, The Hollywood Reporter stated. A clip was released of how the crew prepared for the celebration, which they had before his birthday on December 28.

Seth Meyers gets a surprise 50th birthday celebration

The video starts with a caption that reads, “Seth Meyers was told he would be attending dinner with his manager and agent after the taping of Corrections.”

It then said, “This was a lie.”

From there, it stated, “Without his knowledge, the staff and crew of Late Night planned a surprise 50th birthday party for Seth in Studio 8G.”

The studio was set up into a big birthday extravaganza with pizza, balloons, and much more. It all occurred during his online segment's break.

As Meyers came out of his dressing room in his street attire, he was shocked by a group of staffers who yelled, “Surprise!” Following that, he read cue cards containing well wishes.

This wasn't the end of the celebration. From this point, he walked into the studio, and a larger group of people were wearing birthday hats.

The host was obviously taken aback and very happy to have such an event. “You could have all been at Corrections,” he joked. “I mean, I'm without words. I'm so — I genuinely can't believe how surprised I am, walking out here and seeing all of you guys. I also want to say it's very special to be with you all.”

Seth Meyers concluded with, “Thank you very much.”
