The Philadelphia 76ers won over the Minnesota Timberwolves in quite convincing fashion. However, the biggest highlight for the fans who went to see the game was the scuffle that happened between Joel Embiid and Karl-Anthony Towns.

The battle between the two centers took center stage as they got a little too close and traded blows in the backcourt. The rest of the players on the court immediately rushed to separate the two behemoths from each other.

The fisticuffs the two exchanged were regrettable, and there's no doubt in the minds of pundits and neutral basketball fans that both big men are looking at multiple-game suspensions for their actions.

A much calmer Embiid talked to the press after the game. Obviously, everyone's focus was on the little bout he had with Towns. Usually a jeering jokester, Embiid was unusually calm and addressed the issue as neutral as he could.

He said that the scuffle was just a natural thing that comes with playing basketball. Both of them love to get down and battle it out deep in the post. Every fan who's had to play rough on the gym would understand why the two eventually came to blows.

However, it's still expected out of the two of them to have mastery of their emotions as they're important to their offenses. If Embiid gets slapped with a three-game suspension, he wouldn't be able to play against a strong Portland Trail Blazers team. Meanwhile, Towns would have to sit out against the Milwaukee Bucks and Golden State Warriors if he gets a three-game ban.

Fans can only hope that these two stars won't get harshly punished for their aggressive behavior during the game.
