Minnesota Timberwolves star Karl-Anthony Towns made headlines on Monday after he decided to call out the Los Angeles Lakers' Russell Westbrook for allegedly being a stat-chaser. Draymond Green of the Golden State Warriors has already fired his shot at Towns over his Russ dig, and now, a comment from Philadelphia 76ers star Joel Embiid has resurfaced.
Embiid and Towns are clearly not the best of friends and they have a long-standing beef between them. They did set their feud aside a while back, but there's little doubt the Sixers big man likely still feels this way about KAT:
Green had some strong words for Towns, but it absolutely pales in comparison to Embiid's savage comments from back in the day. The Sixers star did not hold back as he went on an all-out tirade against Towns, who apparently, is a “b–ch” and a “pussy your whole life.” Wow.
To be fair to Karl-Anthony Towns, he did heap praise on Russell Westbrook. However, he did say that Russ “chases stats” and there's no denying that he took a shot at the Lakers superstar. KAT's NBA colleagues did not take too well to his criticism of Westbrook, so it's no surprise that NBA Twitter made sure this Embiid comment resurfaced.
