Philadelphia 76ers center Joel Embiid spiked one massive dunk over Brooklyn Nets forward Rondae Hollis-Jefferson. Unfortunately, the Sixers star pointed at Hollis-Jefferson after the slam which earned him a technical foul.

The Sixers-Nets series had been one of the chippiest match-up in this year's playoffs. To recall, several fines and sanctions were handed out earlier due to various scuffles and flagrant fouls. Embiid himself already has two Flagrant 1 fouls. According to the rules, if a player collects four flagrant foul points, then he'll be automatically suspended for a game.

Joel Embiid, however, had a monster night and led the team with 23 points and 13 rebounds. Ben Simmons put up an all-around effort and finished with 13 points, five rebounds and six assists. Other helpers include Tobias Harris who had 12 points and eight rebounds, and JJ Redick who had 11 points including 3-of-6 from downtown.

Fortunately for the Sixers, they can now move on from the Nets and look forward to their next opponents. Philly won Game 5 122-100 to close out the series 4-1 and move on to the second round. They will face the Toronto Raptors in the Eastern Conference semifinals after the Canada-based team also took care of business against the Orlando Magic in five games.
