On Monday night, longtime NFL running back Arian Foster announced his retirement from the NFL. After going undrafted, Foster made four Pro Bowls, led the league in rushing in 2010, and led the league in rushing touchdowns twice.
Following his abrupt retirement in the middle of the 2016 season, social media reacted to the news:
