The Los Angeles Chargers did close to nothing right in their 45-0 loss against the New England Patriots on Sunday. Rookie Quarterback Justin Herbert and the rest of the Chargers offense failed to score a point.

On the daily Locked On Chargers podcast, Daniel Wade and David Droegemeier broke down the worst loss of the season the Chargers, and one of the worst losses ever for the franchise. After a loss, this bad, someone needs to go.

Wade: I mean, the Chargers were bad in every area of the game. When you lose 45-0, it just feels like you have to get rid of everyone and this feels a lot more like a rebuild because you can say, “Oh we are this close. We are this close,” when you are losing those close games but when you make all those mistakes in the same game, this is what it looks like. This was only a matter of time with how bad I think the Chargers have been playing in certain phases of the game that a blowout like this was coming. It is still shocking to watch them be so incompetent on Sunday but John, this was not one of their worst games of the season, this was one of the worst games that they have ever had as an organization.

Droegemeier: It without a doubt is. This 45-0 margin of defeat is the largest in Chargers history. This defeats the 39-6 loss to the Chiefs in 1964. This is the largest shutout loss for the Chargers since 1973 against the Atlanta Falcons.
