Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger apologized to former teammate Antonio Brown during an interview with KDKA's Bob Pompeani that will air on Monday night, taking responsibility for their poor relationship as Steelers teammates.

“I took some heat and deservedly so for some of the comments on that show and especially towards him,” Roethlisberger said, via Andrew Fillipponi of 93.7 The Fan. “I genuinely feel bad about that and I'm sorry. Did I go too far after that Denver game? Probably.”

But Brown, who now plays for the Oakland Raiders, does not seem to be all that accepting of Roethlisberger's apology, seemingly making a thinly-veiled reference to Roethlisberger's apology later on twitter.

It might be time for Antonio Brown to move on.

He got his wish to be traded from the Steelers. He went to an organization he desired to play for in the Raiders. He also got an apology from Roethlisberger. What else does he want at this point?

It would have looked better for Brown had he taken some responsibility for himself or had he just ignored Roethlisberger altogether. Him taking to social media to subliminally diss Roethlisberger demonstrates he has not grown from his previous ordeal at all.

Of course, things reached a boiling point between Brown and Roethlisberger when the two got into a heated argument in the week leading up to the season finale this past year, which apparently resulted in Brown throwing a football at the quarterback. Brown then refused to practice, complained of knee pain but refused to go for an MRI, and then went AWOL on the team before consequently being benched by head coach Mike Tomlin for the Steelers' Week 17 game against the Cincinnati Bengals.
