The Phoenix Suns have a new look trio in Devin Booker, Kevin Durant, and Bradley Beal that they are hoping to lead them to a title this upcoming season. However, it looks like they are going to have to wait a little bit longer to see this trio take the floor together for a regular season contest, as Beal has been deemed unlikely to play in Phoenix's season-opening tilt against the Golden State Warriors on Tuesday night as he deals with a back injury.

Via Shams Charania:

“Phoenix Suns star Bradley Beal is unlikely to play tonight in season opener vs. the Golden State Warriors, league sources tell The Athletic and Stadium. Suns are taking a cautious approach with Beal’s back ailment to begin the new season.”

Beal has been dealing with back tightness in the lead up to the start of the new season, and was initially expected to suit up for this contest. It looks like the Suns have decided to err on the side of caution, though, and will be holding him out for this game as they attempt to keep their newest star in good shape for the long run.

Suns fans likely will be a bit upset that they don't get to see all the pieces of their star-studded team just yet, but it will all happen in due time, and it's better that Beal is fully healthy rather than trying to play through this back ailment. Booker and Durant will have to shoulder a bigger load with Beal likely watching this game from the sidelines, but they still will have a good shot to open their season with a victory over the Warriors.
