Chris Paul is a winner, and while he may not have a title (yet?) to show for it, he has  proven his impact on the Phoenix Suns and his previous teams.

During their Round 1 playoffs clash with the Los Angeles Lakers on Sunday, an incredible stat was shown for viewers to ponder on. It showed how teams have improved when Paul joined their teams, starting from the New Orleans Hornets who drafted CP3 fourth overall in the 2005 NBA Draft.

Sure enough, fans don't have to look back too long in the past to see Chris Paul's massive influence. In the past two seasons alone, he was a key piece in revitalizing two franchises into title contention.

During the 2019-20 season when the Oklahoma City Thunder were expected to tank after trading their superstars in Russell Westbrook and Paul George, Paul surprised everyone by leading the team to a 44-28 record for the fifth seed in the West. He took Shai Gilgeous-Alexander under his wing, and the young guard has quickly evolved into one of the most promising players in the NBA.

After he was traded to the Suns, Paul's impact was quickly felt. While Phoenix is already expected to break out after their impressive bubble campaign in 2019-20, the stability they have shown can be credited to Paul's leadership. CP3 played the veteran role to perfection, complementing the young talents of Devin Booker and Deandre Ayton.

It remains to be seen if Paul will be able to win a title before he retires, but one thing is certain: he is already a Hall of Famer and will be considered as one of the most impactful players the league has ever seen.
