Devin Booker continues to show everyone that he is one of the best players in the world, and for Philadelphia 76ers head coach Doc Rivers, people should really start giving the Phoenix Suns guard the respect and acknowledgement he deserves.

Speaking on Sunday before the Sixers take on the Sun, Rivers chimed in on Booker's MVP case–which has been a major talking point in recent days as other NBA players campaign for the Phoenix superstar. The veteran head coach emphasized that there is no doubt Book should be in the MVP conversation, and those who say otherwise are simply crazy and do not know basketball.

“He clearly is. Anybody who says he's not is just absolutely insane,” Rivers said, per Dana Scott of AZ Central.

Doc Rivers also shared how Devin Booker has been great years ago. The only knock on his young career was the Suns' mediocrity in the past, but now that he has help, the 25-year-old scorer is proving that he is also a winner.

Brooklyn Nets star Kyrie Irving recently crowned Booker as the season's real MVP, which certainly came as a shocker since he's teammates with Kevin Durant. Memphis Grizzlies guard Ja Morant then followed suit, questioning a tweet that listed the top MVP candidates. The Suns scorer was noticeably missing on the list, so he had to call it out.

Morant also replied to another tweet asking if Book is a Top 3 NBA MVP candidate, to which he replied “true.”

It remains to be seen if this recent campaigning will propel Booker into the top of the list, but regardless, he has definitely proven that he is one of the best players in the NBA today.
