Phoenix Suns swingman Kelly Oubre Jr. and New Orleans Pelicans forward Brandon Ingram are both having tremendous seasons so far, but the former certainly got the better of the latter in this play.

At the 8:20 mark of the first quarter match between the Suns and Pels at the Smoothie King Center on Thursday, Oubre found himself ahead of everyone else on the break after a timely find from Ricky Rubio.

Seeing a rushing Ingram on his tail lights, Oubre went high and finished strong with a left-handed hammer to trim the Suns' deficit to four, 12-16. Ingram showed great hustle in trying to go for the chase down block, but was too late as Oubre dunked all over him and even managed to get an and-one in the process.

Oubre has been solid for the Suns this year, averaging 17.3 points while shooting 45.8 percent from the field and 34.1 from downtown. Ingram, meanwhile, continues to be NOLA's best player on the floor, notching career-bests of 25.4 points per game, along with 7.2 boards and 4.1 assists.
