It was a celebratory night for the Houston Texans Saturday as they beat the Indianapolis Colts to claim the AFC South and knock their rival out of the playoffs. Rookie sensation C.J. Stroud led the way to the win as he connected with his favorite target in wide receiver Nico Collins who had nine catches for a whopping 195 yards and a touchdown.

After the game, Stroud spoke with Scott Van Pelt on ESPN and the show host asked about the universities Collins and himself went to. Stroud went to school at Ohio State University and Collins attended at the University of Michigan, which the two schools have a huge rivalry in their football programs.

With the Michigan football team going to the national championship game, Pelt asked about his relationship with his teammate despite the two schools having an intense feud with one another. Stroud would say there is a “truce” between them since they never faced each other when they were playing at the collegiate level.

“Me [Stroud] and Nico actually, we have a truce,” Stroud said. “He never beat us and we never beat them, so we don't really talk about it much. But yeah man, it sucks that he went there.”

Stroud threw for 264 yards and two touchdown passes as he had a 134.1 quarterback rating in the regular season finale. With a full slate of NFL games Sunday, the Texans wait to see who their opponent will be in the playoffs as Stroud, Collins, and Houston are looking to make noise.
