After a disappointing season filled with injuries, the Houston Texans are looking to bounce back with a vengeance in 2018. Quarterback Deshaun Watson is ready to get back to work, and no teammate is more excited for his return than star wide receiver, DeAndre Hopkins.

The All-Pro wideout envisions a special connection between him and Watson heading into the 2018 campaign, via Aaron Wilson of the Houston Chronicle.

“The possibilities, what we can do is limitless, not just him and myself, but this whole team,” Hopkins said. “He runs this whole team and he does a great job.”

Hopkins also responded to Jalen Ramsey's recent comments about Watson. The Jacksonville Jaguars star recently made a lot critiques about players around the NFL including Watson. Unlike his thoughts about Joe Flacco and Matt Ryan, Ramsey thinks Watson is the real deal with an MVP award in his future.

Ramsey's comments about Hopkins' teammate had the wide receiver saying the following about the Texans quarterback, via Wilson.

“He’s a good quarterback,” Hopkins said when asked about that opinion. “Deshaun has a lot to work on, but it’s a team sport. So, we have to go out and win games for anything to happen.”

So far, Watson has played only seven games on the NFL level starting six of those games. Although he has limited experience, the soon-to-be 23-year-old put the league on notice throwing for 1,699 yards, 19 touchdowns, and rushing for two scores.

An incredible feat for any quarterback let alone a rookie. It remains to be seen whether he gets back to form after the knee injury that ended his rookie campaign prematurely, but there are high hopes in Houston with Hopkins anxious to get started.
