Just when the Houston Texans needed a big play to get on the board on Thanksgiving, JJ Watt was there to provide it.

After the Detroit Tigers scored a touchdown on their opening drive to take an early 7-0 lead, Watt and the Texans were able to score after the defensive end had a pick six in the firs quarter.

On first and 10 at the Lions’ 25-yard line, Watt intercepted Lions quarterback Matthew Stafford’s pass and took it all the way to the end zone as Houston answered Detroit’s early touchdown to cut their lead to one, 7-6 after Kai'mi Fairbairn missed the extra point.

It is only the second defensive touchdown in the 10-year career of Watt, a five-time Pro Bowler, but he the 31-year old is coming off a strong game against the New England Patriots on Sunday, where he had two solo tackles, one tackle for loss, and three passes deflected in Houston’s 27-20 win. Meanwhile, it is Stafford’s eighth interception this season against 17 touchdowns.
