Hayden Christensen sent a message to fellow Star Wars star, Amandla Stenberg, a message ahead of the premiere of Star Wars: The Acolyte.
In a clip posted to Star Wars' social media accounts, Christensen's message can be heard. It leaves Stenberg shaking as a result.
“I just wanted to send you a quick message to say congratulations. I'm very excited for the show and wanted to wish you all the best and welcome you to our Star Wars family,” he began. “Hopefully, I'll get to meet you soon — maybe at a Star Wars Celebration or something.”
As she was shaking, Stenberg responded to the heartwarming gesture. “Hayden, I am currently still shaking a little bit from receiving this video, but I just wanted to extend all my gratitude for your love and support. It means the world to me 'cause I'm so honored to step into this universe,” she said. “And the path that you carved in it means so much to me.”
She proceeds to replay the video, specifically Christensen's greeting, over and over again.
Who do Hayden Christensen and Amandla Stenberg play in Star Wars?
This was a heartwarming move from Hayden Christensen to Amandla Stenberg. The former is known for playing Anakin Skywalker in the prequel trilogy of Star Wars films.
Nearly two decades later, Christensen made his triumphant return to the franchise. He starred in the Disney+ series, Obi-Wan Kenobi and would subsequently appear in Ahsoka as well.
What the future holds for Christensen remains to be seen. It is possible that Star Wars finds a way to bring Christensen back into the fold. After all, they have done it twice now in live-action form.

In The Acolyte, Stenberg has dual roles as Osha and Mae. She leads the latest Star Wars Disney+ series.
Earlier in their career, Stenberg gained notoriety for their role in The Hunger Games. She played Rue in the first film and also starred in several episodes of Sleepy Hollow around this time. She would go on to star in Rio 2, The Hate U Give, Dear Evan Hanse, and Bodies Bodies Bodies.
Additionally, in 2023, Stenberg voiced a character in Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse. She voiced Margo Kess/Spider-Byte in the hit animated film. Across the Spider-Verse grossed nearly $700 million at the box office.
What is The Acolyte about?
Star Wars: The Acolyte is the latest series in a galaxy far, far away from Disney+. It takes place before the events of the main Star Wars films and at the end of the High Republic era. The series depicts a Jedi investigation of a series of crimes.
Leslye Headland, known for creating Russian Doll, created the series. Lee Jung-jae, Manny Jacinto, Dafne Keen, Charlie Barnett, and Jodie Turner-Smith also star in the series.
The first two episodes of The Acolyte will premiere on Disney+ on June 4. Six more episodes will be released in the subsequent weeks.
